NC State Adverse Weather Update
NC State – Safety Notice: Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 3:50 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Raleigh, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Due to the unpredictable circumstances of this weather event, NC State will operate under Condition 2 (Suspended Operations) beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and extending through 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
All classes scheduled between 5 p.m. today and 12 p.m. tomorrow are canceled. The Wolfline will remain operational as long as weather conditions permit. Updates to the Wolfline schedule or operating status are available on the Transportation website. During adverse weather and other emergency event conditions, employees and students should take reasonable precautions for personal safety.
You are encouraged to check the status of scheduled events before coming to campus. The university will provide an update regarding the operating condition by 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. All updates or changes to operating conditions will be shared through WolfAlert, the university homepage and social media channels, should it become necessary.
